This one is to be built like the baby lathe, only bigger. The head will be based around a VW Beatle axle. I have actually bought new bearings for it, total cost so far is under $10usd. In the pic below you can see another axle in the lower left corner. I have several of these. I also have 6inch channel, some 3/4 thick plate for the crossfeed table, threaded rod to pull the table, 8inch dia steel tubing to secure it's squareness, etc, etc..... This one will turn the ball joints for the big boat's arms (which connect the amas to the center hull).
