The canoe was exceedingly tippy, especially when pwc were flying by. This strapped onto the top of the canoe with nylon web strap running under the hull into a ratcheting takeup. It was still possible to turn the boat over with this contraption, but i had to work at it. Anyone could stand in the boat with a pwc flying nearby, or large powerboats at full throttle in the lake causing 1ft waves.
In this pic, the canoe is upside down on the pontoon rack, which is right side up.
The canoe, the picnic table, the grill, were chained to a tree. The floats were supposed to be also. They weren't. One of the yearly floods happened, the pontoons floated away. I made them, i left them there for everyone to use. They are gone now. No one cares.
