Animals I Have Met

I've known a lot of animals, some nice, some interesting, most with personalities i prefered over humans. Here's the recent ones, only as far back in time as when i got the 35mm film camera. I grew up on a farm, but have no pictures of that time.

Studying how to turn this one over..... It's a frying pan bolted to a truck brake drum, it weighs more than she does. If it doesn't weigh enough, the cast iron drum is hollow, i can add weight to it.

Hiiiieeeeeee....

I'm so cute!

Ok, that looks cute too.

But i'm cuter!

The chicken wire fence surrounds 20ft x 32ft of the living room, floor to 12ft ceiling, to keep her safely indoors as i go about doing human things with the doors open. There's multiple levels for her to climb and run about on, what with the scaffolding still up from building the house (it's not going to be finished, i am building a boat to get away from humans, since they have shown me i am not one of them).

This tastes pretty good.

But that might taste better?

I've occasionally had to catch the birds in the house by hand, and carry them out.

Sitting at the lake, this bird decided to land in my hair, and stay there ~15 minutes, enough to discuss it, someone else to go get a camera, and snap several pics, and us discuss it some more. Yes, that's my natural hair colors, i'm a tabby.

There's an owl dead center in this pic, looking right at me. Years ago, a huge owl would sit outside the 16ft wide bay window and watch me eat breakfast.

Fuzzy pics of a rabbit and a 2ft tall redheaded woodpecker.

The rabbit had been sitting there an hour. A month later, i went to the backyard, and sat down 10ft from it, and it simply accepted me, and went on eating grass.

I read these cannot be seen on the ground. While i was sneaking up on it, less than 40ft away, the neighbor gunned a truck engine with no muffler, scaring the bird away. It's the little red fuzzy dot right in the center of the pic...

A 3/16 inch (5mm) bee browsing pollen on bahia grass where i was sitting one day, and a well flowered grass stalk.

This must be the ugliest walking stick i have ever seen:

Hornet's nest up under the back balcony. They never bothered me, ever. I took it down one winter when no hornets were home.

A couple decades ago, i installed a 5ft x 3ft double hung double pane window in a framed wall, with a wasp nest in the opening. A couple wasps flew off, but none bothered me.

You have got to understand, the neighbor and dog situation here is because the dogs are told to come after me.

A snake.

A series of pics of two snakes, one dead, one alive. I put them into the glass aquarium because this event had been going on for an hour, and birds were accumulating. As a bird, this would have been a prime time to kill a snake: get two for the price of one, and no risk of a bite. I didn't figure two snakes needed to die.
