This site is best viewed using Firefox 2.0+, IE has assorted bugs, as well as intentionally breaking standards, and useing proprietary html that breaks the normal use of standard words. I'll try accomodate IE, but i won't break the look and feel i want to see in FireFox just so IE won't mess up. I mean really: Microsoft won't go out of their way for me, and your choice of browser is your choice. That said, at least some of these pages look the same in IE7, IE8, FF2, FF3, and Safari.
It's recently come to my attention via irc that poeple fear me. People who have never seen me, or talked in person to me, have somehow decided i am dangerous. No one will tell me why they fear me, i am left in silence. For 20 minutes the other day, i begged for insight as to what i had done to cause this, and no one spoke to me.
It's not the first time, but i thought the humans online were smarter than those here in real life. When i moved here, all the women feared i was opening a brothel and was going to take their men, a thought i considered laughable. For years after that, when meeting any male under any circumstances, i would tell them i was not having sex with them. It didn't matter who it was. A store clerk approaching to ask if they could help me, or a bank teller, it didn't matter, i was going to put them at ease.
The power company here has blown up a lot of equipment, what with intermittant spikes and the time they jacked up the line voltage to 135v for weeks. So i installed a small generator and a large battery pack feeding a ups for the computer. Well, wierdness strikes, the District Attorney's office said i had to put up a fence if i didn't want to get dog-bit, so i did, and the power company wanted their meter back because it was inside the fence. So i gave it back to them, and since it was winter, i also had the water shut off so the pipes up at the road wouldn't burst. When the DA's office heard about it (by who? i don't know!), they investigated me, because they feared i was a "unibomber", nevermind the Unibomber hated technology, while technology is the only friend i have here. My understanding is they didn't care about the power being off in winter as much as they minded i still had water to use (why? again, no idea!). Plus, the Unibomber attacked people in tech places, and all i have done is run from adversity.
Leading me to the boat. I'll finish it asap, and get the hell away from humans. My experience has shown me that they act like any nearly animal that is in fear: they attack. I want nothing more than to get away from them. I want that more than i want to add to this website. So i won't be posting anything new here anymore. I'll likely take it all down soon, because since no one will clue me in why they fear me, for all i know perhaps this site is the reason they fear me (why? hell if i know!).
